Data we process

  • Account data: name, email, password (stored hashed).
  • Learning data: lesson progress, quiz results, private notes, questions to mentors, homework files.
  • Technical data: sessions (cookies); if you link Telegram — username and chat id.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Providing course access and running the platform — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Emails (email verification, password reset, mentor invitations) — contract / legitimate interest.
  • Legal compliance (accounting, taxes) — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).

  • AssemblyAI (video transcription) — USA.
  • Google Gemini (text generation and translation) — USA.
  • Bunny Stream (video hosting and delivery) — EU.
  • Resend (email delivery) — USA.
  • Application hosting — Germany (EU). Transfers to the USA rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).

Retention

  • Account data is kept while the account exists. After deletion it is erased or anonymized, except where we must retain it by law.

Your rights

  • Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent (Art. 15–21 GDPR).
  • You can delete your account and export your data in your account area (Profile), or contact us at media4estate@gmail.com.
  • You may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Informacijski pooblaščenec RS (www.ip-rs.si).

Provision requirement and automated decisions

  • Providing account data is necessary to enter into and perform the contract; without it we cannot grant access. We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects.

Cookies

  • We use only strictly necessary (functional) cookies (login session, selected language, theme). No analytics or marketing trackers, so no consent banner is required.
